Galveston, Texas
I’ve had a blast staying at the beach in Galveston, Texas, for the past month and I could not have envisioned a more fun trip. Between Houston last month and Galveston for the past few weeks, it’s been fulfilling to explore a couple places in Texas that I’ve never visited before. My favorite parts of this trip include celebrating Mardi Gras with some parades and parties, spending countless hours at Galveston Beach and the many beaches on Galveston Island, working from Rosenberg Library (the oldest continuously operating library in Texas and a beautiful building), and spending time at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier. I’ve had an action-packed and memorable month and am grateful for a job that allows me to work in an amazing place like this.
