August 10, 2010:

It just struck me that I hadn't written anything on here in a little while. It is also five o'clock in the morning, and tomorrow I will wake up, go home, and probably sleep until two. I love the summer, but hate the sleeping patterns that always, despite my efforts to stop them, seem to form their ways into my life. Oh well. Doesn't matter. Most everything I do is written, or at least inspired, by nights like this. Nights spent laying and staring aimlessly at a mostly darkened ceiling, not tired, just thinking. Nights that I sometimes wish I could get rid of, but that even during the school year, never disappear.

Like I said though, oh well. It just doesn't matter. I can sleep during the day and stay awake through most of the night. Or I can do the opposite. Or neither. It just doesn't matter. Even though our moon circles our Earth, which orbits our sun, time is free. Time exists, but time is free, and it is ours to do with it what we want.

So I do this. I lay awake and I write shitty posts/entries/rants that few people will probably read. It's better than no one though. So in order to get back to my staring and thinking, I will end it in a promisingly very humble, but self-promoting way:

I am in the process of re-editing, and most likely finalizing everything I've written, and will be done in a few days. It's not like there's anything wrong with what is already posted, it's just that right now I feel like none of it is in its individual finalized form, and after this, hopefully it all will be and I can continue writing new and working on other things.

With Real Talk, there is one new song that has been finished and posted both here and on Purevolume. Many more are being worked on and will be finished in the near future. With Two Headed Boy I am in the process of recording a sort of stripped down, fully acoustic cd.

I think that's all for now. Sorry I'm such a self-promoting asshole.

Another new story, "Self-Induced Amnesia." Again not a final draft, but I've been working on this one for months, and really wanted to put it up. Enjoy.

Today is a good day. On the music page now you can listen to my Two Headed Boy stuff, plus music from a rap group some of my friends and I are starting called Real Talk. Check it out.

Finally. I've wanted to finish this website for so long, and if it wasn't for HTML being ridiculously overwhelming, I would already be done. But oh well. New music section is finished, complete with some sweet tunes. New side link: the video production company I help my dad with (Texson). Lots of good shit in the works. Stay tuned.
